Founded by a small group of parents supported by 3M in 1956, EAC is currently sponsored by six multi-national companies. They are: 3M (founder), Caterpillar, Goodyear, Hyundai, Procter & Gamble and Sylvamo. Each company appoints an employee to serve on the EAC Board of Trustees.

Members of the EAC Board of Trustees serve as stewards of the school and are deeply committed to providing effective school governance. Working closely with the school administration, the EAC Board of Trustees guides EAC’s strategic direction and continuous improvement. The Board also closely monitors the financial health and sustainability of the school.

On behalf of the Board of Trustees, EAC is pleased to present the Strategic Goals 2027. Through a process of reflection and consultation with the community, informed by the school’s recent re-accreditation with CIS and NEASC, a set of goals has been crafted to bring the Mission, Vision and Core Values to life. 

Each year, EAC develops a year long implementation plan of targets to make progress towards the four goals. Updates are shared on its progress during the Annual General Meeting. The community, as well as prospective families or staff, is invited to reflect on EAC’s guiding statements and join in working together to meet these goals. Together, We Grow as Giants!
